Testimonials
“Our family has been using Angell-Thomas purebred and composite bulls for several years and love the quality and growth of the calves they sire. The disposition and durability makes the bulls easy to get along with and maintain. We appreciate that they are handled and developed to last. Some of our best producing cows originated from Russ and Sally as yearling open heifers. They are excellent mothers and raise some tremendous calves.”

Our Values
The goal of Angell-Thomas Charolais is to provide quality genetics that will benefit commercial customers. When we select sires, our formula is calving ease, disposition, and competitive growth. The goal is to keep our offspring a moderate mature size, and we keep all our own replacement heifers to ensure optimum fertility and udder quality. With years of hard work raising up their Charolais herd, disposition has always been an important trait, and something Sally and her family pride themselves in.
Our bulls deliver both high-growth and muscle. The bulls are developed in large paddocks with the goal of maintaining their soundness and athletic ability. We find it worth noting that none of our animals are raised using a creep feeder, and we pride ourselves in a feeding program that includes fescue grass. While Charolais cattle is, of course, our bread and butter, our cattle also pair well with other breeds, especially Red and Black Angus.
